I’ve written a new track review on Jungo Road for the new Waveplant & Ernesto (I Need A) Bassline (Chad North and Aaron Pope Remix). Its a great new track put together by Chad North, Aaron Pope, Waveplant, and Ernesto. Its a solid funky breakbeat track with glitched out vocals, choppy beats, and a background hint of retro vocoder effects. Think more prime time Stanton Warrior-esque in a crowded room of heated sexy people pulsing to the beat.
My friends at Mr. Black and Tubway launch a new saturday night party “The Church Sessions” starting this Saturday 15 March 2008.

DJ Triniton has her set this Thurs 6 Dec 07 from 9:30-11:30pm at Chapel Bar. She’s been my long-time friend and I’ve watched her growth (and helped a little) as a DJ. She spins dirty-dirty-dwerty house w/ a little old school hip-hop, electro, and breaks thrown in. Its, literally, a school night for her so she’s got the earlier slot. You can still get home and get enough sleep to make it to work, or school, on Friday! So go to Chapel tomorrow. GO! Get a seasonal drink by the good-looking bartenders, and groove it out…drink it out.
Also, The Glitch Mob continues to slay it as they produce music, grow, and demonstrate they’ve got their shit together. They’ve got talent, some good management in the crew, and have a can-do collaborative attitude to match. I support them in every way I can. Yes, they performed at one of my shows in Seattle.

Hi, everyone. I’m back to recording my DJ sets that I do at home. More recently, I’ve been trying much wider styles and tempos of music. Its a fun challenge to put them together. I like challenges. I’m also more aware of the root key differences between songs. It’s starting to bug me when they’re not compatible in a transition.
In the 31 Aug 2007 set I posted (player is in this post or in the column on the right of this website), I play at least trip-hop, big beat, glitch, breakbeat, hip-hop, downtempo, vocal, and minimal.
